Water Rights, Irrigation & Land Ownership
Daniels County drains primarily into the Poplar River, which flows southeast from the Saskatchewan border through Scobey before joining the Missouri at Poplar in Roosevelt County. The watershed is small and flashy with no significant upstream storage.
